The golf course at Golf Creek is currently closed down as of 6/08. As of 11/09, no one has stepped forward to buy the course.
Gold Creek is a premier 600 plus-acre master planned golf community that consists of single-family homes and golf villas in neighborhoods of varying home types and price ranges. You'll be able to step out your front door and see mountains in the distance. There are sparkling spring-fed lakes here that add to the views and ambience. You're going to see birds and wildlife that make their homes here, too.
In the surrounding area, there are loads of fun things to do. Here in Dawsonville, we're in the heart of Georgia gold country where prospectors came to seek their fortunes in the 1820s. We're close to the Appalachian Trail, horse back riding, wine tasting and numerous Autumn festivals.
Gold Creek was founded in 1995 as an 18-hole semi-private golf club, named by the Georgia Golf Association as the “Best Golf Course in North Georgia.”
